Let Them Eat Cake. . .

I like cake! Lots & lots of cake! I even like fruitcake. I have been craving cake for a while, so, yesterday I baked a white cake with cream cheese frosting. It's sitting in the fridge, only 2 slices consumed. Unfortunately, I'm going to be the only one eating it because Will doesn't share my fondness for cake.

It's just too durn out out therrre! I haven't been running since temps hit triple digits. Thought about getting up at 5 am to run on the "Y"'s treadmills; somehow I can't seem to get myself up on weekdays *yawn*.

Oh, thanks to all who prayed for my sister. She is home with my folks :) . I know my nephew is very glad to have his mom with him, too. My folks will celebrate 40 yrs of marriage this Thursday & my mom also turns 60 the same day. Haven't quite figured what to do for them, yet.

I'll be at "extreme Yoga" tomorrow. Stay hydrated & Happy Training! :)

I'm SO glad your sister moved back home. She probably will be more appreciative of family now that she has experienced being used by a "friend".

Throw that cake away...quickly. You have enjoyed a couple of pieces, so get rid of it. The reason for my advice is that I have eaten a whole pound cake by myself in the past 4 days! I bought one from Primos for my customer who was not in so I brought it home...bad idea. My husband prefers the banana bread I brought home, so the pound cake was mine. I finished it up tonight. Now, I know why I am not losing weight. I can't wog enough to keep up with my bad eating! Take my advice...close your eyes and toss it in the garbage can!

So glad to hear your sister is back with family. How wonderful that your parents have been together so long. I know they are very proud of you so you have already given them the ultimate gift. Stay cool.

I know the perfect gift for your parent's anniversary. You need to flock their yard with pink flamingos and hearts! We did that for my parents 40th and they loved it!
