I went running yesterday. My Forerunner 305 quit working :( I haven't even owned it a full 90 days yet! Undaunted, I used the "stopwatch" feature on my phone & timed myself. I am SO bummed! :(
Then, I found out I'm going to be an aunt "again"!!!!! My younger sister is pregnant with her second child. She's kind of aimless; she wants to be married and have the happy family life, but she doesn't make wise choices. I'm pretty disappointed because I thought she had learned her lesson the first time around; her pregnancy was pretty risky and my nephew was born prematurely, but thankfully they both made it through. And, yeah, I'll say it: I'm jealous. It just doesn't seem fair. While I don't have my life together 100%, I know can be a better mother than she is. But, for whatever reason, she's going to bring another life into the world & it seems I'm never going to get the chance. In the meantime, I'm a very cool aunt. My nephew & I adore each other.
Enough of the pity party. I'm going to make jambalaya.

I hope it was just a low battery problem with your Garmin. I wish the charge would last longer on those. I forget to recharge mine sometimes. Hopefully you will get the opportunity to be a mommy one of these days...you still have time, you know. In the meantime you can be a great Auntie role model for your nephew and the next nephew/neice and help steer them in the right direction.
I am sure it was a low battery. Those things are loud! I kept hearing someone's (was it yours?) who passed me going back the last couple of blocks to fleet feet. I had on the iPod, and could not even hear MY watch, but could hear another garmin atleast 75 feet from me! good luck.....cg
I thoroughly believe that everything happens for a reason. Hang in there and keep it up and it'll happen for you one way or another. Just don't give up!
Congrats on being an aunt again even though it might not be under optimum circumstances. And, I'm sorry about the Garmin. I've had my 301 for 2 years and truly am infatuated with it. It has started being a little testy so I splurged and ordered a 305 despite the fact that my friend Sally fights with hers/cusses it out on a regular basis. I hope there's nothing serious wrong with yours!
It's ok to feel jealous. you are human. God has a plan. He always does. Trust in Him.
